| Subject: Inquire reassessment |

Hello,
I got refusal in May this year for my skilled worker application, since at that time my MSc diploma was not available and I got 14 on IELTS. Now I have my MSc diploma. Is it possible to ask reassessment if I provide more documents and take IELTS again(I could get 16)?

I guess there´s no harm in sending CIC a well-written letter explaining your reason for reassessment. This request process will also take time. CIC may or may not respond to you. If you are really sure this time that you are going to pass the point system, you might as well re-apply. In re-applying, aim for the interview waiver to save some waiting months...meaning submit a very well-thought of application....goodluck.

I believe (Not sure) that you only have 60 days from the date of refusal to send an appeal. Please check the refusal letter for information about sending an appeal.
If you feel that now you have the required points to qualify as a skilled worker then you should send in a new application as an appeal can take a very long time. If possible take IELTS before sending your application.

Thanks for your valuable feedback.
Actually the Visa officer didn´t indicate about appeal. He just said ? didn´t get enough points, he didn´t count my Masters studies (finished studies, but was waiting Diplom), gave me 20 instead 25 points.
Btw, if I send my application again well established application, does it take the same long time as before? (it took 1.5 years and was UK office). And if I send new one to other appropeiate offices, do I have to explain why my first application was rejected?
