Hi all,
Do we have the right to make an application form canada? While we are pursuing a master/phd degree ?

if you meet their criteria, you can apply of course, the visa office responsible for people living in Canada is Buffalo, you might also consider applying to the visa office responsible for your country of nationality if the later is faster.

I am just wondering because while getting student visa you they want you to leave the country as your education is finished.Besides,how much does it take from Buffalo? In my country it is more then 3 years

A lot of students apply for immigration when they are studying in Canada. You can only apply for immigration from Buffalo if you have been admitted to Canada for a period of more than 1 year.
At present it is taking on an average 18 to 34 months to process a Skilled Worker immigration application from Buffalo, USA.

One thing you should consider before applying to Buffalo is that if you are called for an interview you will have to travel to US and it is your responsibility to get the visa to visit US.

To add to what Kenny mentioned, you have to finish 1 year of study in Canada before applying for PR at Buffalo.
You might also consider provincial nominee program, if there is one in your province of study. But you have to get an employment offer. This way is much faster and a by-pass for the skilled worker points system.

Thanks for the valuable helps,there is just one thing which concerns me.While getting visa it´s said that student should leave as study finishes.Do they want you to sign something "I will not apply to immigration while I am in canada?" I think I have heard something like that or is it just a myth?
