Subject: Landing for in-Canada Applicant |

Hi,
I am writing this because I am confused...
I am an in-Canada applicant... and I already got my PP request and now waiting for my PP to come back...but I understand that once I have it I will have to "land" in Canada again...
in other terms I will have to leave to the nearest border then cross again...
but does that mean I will have to apply for a US visa???
because I don´t want to approach the US Customs and Immigration without a visa and have my name listed as "denied entry" to the states...
any suggestions guys?

(in reply to: Landing for in-Canada Applicant) Yes, dear. As far as I know, you will have to cross the border. Or you can go back to your home country and re-enter. How come you didn´t have a U.S. visa even after being in canada for such a long time?
Nonetheless, try applying for a U.S. visa if you don´t wanna go back to the home country.

(in reply to: Landing for in-Canada Applicant) Hello What to do.
you can land on any border or immigration office on a airport. as far as my knowledge goes you dont need to be concerned about the US border you only need to be in touch with canadian officials.
what is your timeline?

(in reply to: Landing for in-Canada Applicant) I went out to the Rainbow bridge in the Niagara Falls and walked back in to get my work permit that way.

(in reply to: Landing for in-Canada Applicant) wow now i´m really confused..
So even if you are an in-canada applicant for spousal immigration, once you get your passport stamped and back, you have to go back across the border, then come back in again? the border officials won´t give you any crap on that? help!
(i´m american btw in souther ontario about 2 hours north of International Falls)
