I never feel such belonging to Canada like today. I maybe get too exciting.

I suppose to go to watch Avril Lavigne??s concert at 7:00pm tonight, however, haven??t tour around Victoria for a while, I went there at noontime.

First stop was Chinatown, tried some Dim Sum. Surprised me, so many white people there. How comes they like Dim sum?? I talked to one folk, how he likes Dim Sum.
He told that??s great and delicious, he comes to here every single week. He also asked me if the taste is as same as it supposes to be. Sure it is. Well, then it??s mosaic right?
Yep, appreciate Canada??s multicultural policy, our culture can at least survive without interrupted.

I spent about three hour walk around B.C royal museum, see how much resource government invested into education? How much is the admission? 18 dollars, admission with 3D national geomorphic documentary.

Legislative building, free tour. The most important is we learn legal rights, charter of human rights from the books, not until you really enter legislative building, you realized that how important are those piece of acts.

Here is my favour part, I know it might sound too naive to my age.
I went to watch Avril Lavigne??s concert. I have to admit that I am so crazy about her, that??s why I bought ticket four month ago. Once I enter ?? Save on Memorial centre??,
I realized that my seat is just 15 feet away from the stage.

I screamed, I cried, I sang each single songs with Avril Lavigne and 6000 audiences together, never feel such exciting and young. I scream extremely loud, I know I lost voice right now, but I swear to god I at least tried once eye contact with Avril!!!

Beside my seat, there are two girls about 15 years old, all the way hitchhike from Duncan to Victoria. I offered them free ride home, considered it??s too dangerous for 15 years old girls to hitchhike at night. However, how comes they believe me? Do I look really nice or what? No! This is basic trust in Canada and people trust each other in Vancouver Island! They know I drove all the way from Nanaimo, I knew they are from Duncan, that??s it, we are friends in the concert.

Ok, talking back to Avril, after concert, gee ,this is even naive, don??t laugh at me please. I waited outside for her autography, I know people like my age suppose not to do that, however, come on, you need do some crazy stuff in your life do you??? I am those kind of crazy Asian!!!!!

Actually Avril Lavigne is on the North American tour right now, she lives in motor home, there are 5 motor homes carry all the music stuff and daily living stuff, then you don??t have to fly here and there. What I saw is she was preparing BBQ with normal workers and staff, no show off, no heavy make up or dressing, even in the concert, exactly same as you and me, normal Canadian.

It??s time to get autography, it´s my turn!!!!! I screamed to Avril, please eat as less BBQ as possible, consider you are on the tour, need health food! I like your music so much! I love you Avril!!!!!
What a fortunate! that black big bodyguard didn??t push me.
?? thank you!?? just a smile like normal highschool kids, I was touched so much. I can cry for that!

Haha~~those are my shitty review for Canada, anyway, no matter how other people comment on Canada, I like here, especially the people, no matter Avril Lavigne or those two 15 years old chicks, or even folks here sitting on the grass. We are all born to be equal in this wonderful country!

dadof3... your comment reminds me of a silly story. My former husband has relatives that lived in Russia. I cannot recall the circumstances but they were able to leave Russia and move to Germany. Tante Gredel arrived in Vancouver all wide eyed for a visit. She had not seen her brother (my father-in-law)in 30 years. Her first night in Canada...
´Can we go to Niagra Falls tomorrow?´
´Well no, Gredel... it is far away.´ She was thinking father-in-law was too cheap/lazy to take her.
´Well no Gredel... you must drive for over a week to get there!!!!!!!´
Oh... are you sure???

If you want to catch Niagra falls within the first week of your arrival make sure you land in Ontario. :)

you know what? so many German and Dutch tourists have no idea about Vancouver Island´s size until they got here.It might take them 1 month to visit all those places which they heard from Internet like Tofino, Port Alberni, Port Hardy.

We have German visitors get lost in West Coast trails and met cougar. We heard this kind of stories too many times, they thought Vancouver Island might be just like a Hawaii size
