I moved to a new apartment after I applied (applied dec 04). Then I sent a fax (March 1, 05) with my new mailing address. My AOR was marked March 15, 05 but came to the old address (thank god, the new tenant did not throw that away) (USPS failed to forward the letter, the letter forwarding service of USPS in my case only worked for 30% of letters).

Then I filled out the form in AOR and faxed again to Buffalo with my new address (That is sending the same information twice-does that disqualify me?)

Now My eclient still shows my old address. In a couple of months they would probably send an IA. What u guys think I should do? Plz share as this whole process has worn me out. Thanks

Send a registered mail to Buffalo. Inform them of the change in address. Make sure that you mention your file number on the letter.

Hi:

I believe your fax did not go through, i faxed buffalo asking to change my address ´cause they made a mistake and what a surprise after two weeks it was changed on E-client, try fax them again, explaining this is the third time you do it and ask them the favor to update your data, I am sure they will change your address good luck and hope you get your PP soon, if that does not work try the registered mail option.

regards
