| Subject: Waiting for CAIPS over 6 weeks |

Hi all,
I sent a letter to CIC Ottawa for my own CAIPS Notes from Canada on May 13, 2005.
Then, I faxed the same form last Friday, on June 24, 2005 since I haven´t received any reply from them yet.
It seems to me this takes a little longer than I heard.
Does anybody ask for your CAIPS recetly, and has already received or not yet?
My timeline:
Applied to Buffalo as SW in December 2003
AOR: Jan 2004
IA: Oct 2004 (Interview required at Seattle)
Medicals: Nov 2004
Additional docs requested: Feb 2005
Additional docs submitted to Seattle: Mar 2005
Since then no news as all.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi...I applied for CAIPS last June 3 and the expected date to get it is bet Jul 9-19. I used caipsnotes.com though. Based on this estimates, maybe yours is on its way. goodluck.

I sent a request for CAIPS in mid-May, and got it back recently (last week, if I am not mistaken); it´s werid that it takes so long for you...

I just sent a request for CAIPS notes two days ago to Ottawa. Will they send me the notes by mail? Or they will provide me with an internet link to check them. I read in the CIC web site that the five dollars we pay will give us about five hours of searching! Any idea what does that mean?
