yep, it´s a nice high-rise waterfront hotel, I think it´s the best hotel in town.
Why I am away? Actually I still gonna be away for a while, just came back from Lower Mainland.
I was assigned to deliver five types of Tourism Vancouver Island Visitor guide from Comex Valley, Duncan, Nanaimo, Campbell River and Oceanside to the rest of British Columbia. As long as there is an info centre, I have to hit.
I have already finished lower Mainland and Vancouver Island in two weeks by a five-ton Budget Truck like bus size.
I will spend rest of month in the rest of B.C, cities like Creston, Clearwater, Prince Rupert, Queen Charlotte, Houston, and Fort St John. Any city Sharon you can think about, I will hit.
Good thing is I can see the rest of British Columbia during my delivery job. And hotel, food, all paid and I get salary at the same time.
Yep, it??s a hard work; I have to lift tons of boxes everyday. Since I am young, early 20, as long as I have good sleep, not tired at all.You know what happened? Our manager asked all staffs in office, nobody wanna go this trip. Well, it??s true, they are all middle age ladies with kids or some chicks got boyfriend. Can??t leave town.
People always mention it??s hard to find a job, the thing is you should know how to find connection and you have to work hard, no exception.
Sharon, I was in Richmond info centre yesterday, I lived in Delta town and country Inn. Enjoy nice food yesterday. I also went to info centre at Fort Langley, Chiliwack, Abbotsford. Their summer student, chicks are so cute and nice!
As long as I told them, I am from Nanaimo, never been to this town, wanna stay over night, people are so nice to you? You don??t have car? No problem, they gonna drive you around.
I was back to Nanaimo right now for the second load, gonna go to Hope and Kamloops tomorrow.

Stay in hostel, hitchhiking on hwy (illegal to pick up, but not illegal to hitchhike)
I have never been to any place in the east. I will go to most of cities in British Columbia in these coming weeks

what a great chance to see the province - and get paid! Like you say... you have a few muscles but I am sure if you look a little sad, there are people that will probably help you to unload :) Some of your mentioned ´cities´ are little more than a gas station and Info station. LOL but they all were important at one time with either the forest industry or the old Gold Rush. What a wonderful opportunity.

It´s my second load, I stay in Abbotsford tonight.
Sharon, you can??t believe how nice are people here. I talked to a girl works in Info centre at Abbotsford. She is kind of cute, J I told her that I gonna drive by myself, first time stay in Abbotsford, kind of lonely. You know what? She drives me to the Coast hotel, we gonna have dinner tonight and go to watch movie together.
We know each other no more than 1 hour.I don´t even know her last name.

I am nervous to ask about the girlfriend with the kid in Nanaimo. Is is all over. You do not talk about her any more.

Hey, back from dinner, too tired to go to movie, but anyway, met some new friends working in the same industry, such valuable connection and experience sharing.
House in Abbotsford is cheaper than Nanaimo and Victoria. I couldn??t figure out why there is such difference from here and Vancouver. What lower mainland really needs is a reliable train system. Feel such nice when I went to Fort Langley Abbotsford Chiliwack. Residents here should not drive cars too much. I wouldn??t mind live in here as long as there is something like Skytrain, Still couldn??t figure out why resident of Port Mody voted NO to skytrain.
