I have a pending PR application and now i am supposed to visit canada for a job interview. Is it possible for me to apply for a visitor visa from US if my visa here have expired.

Getting a Visit Visa for a job interview should not be problem given you show the following with Visa Application
1.Letter from interviewer requesting you to visit canada
2.Flight tickets to show ur plan is to go back after the interview
3.Funds to support you during ur time of stay and hotel bookings
4.Copies of ur pending PR Application (not mandatory but good to create positive results)
5.Make sure up allication has a very detailed cover letter explaining ur reasoning
