Hi,
Last October 2013, I received an email indicating that I´m qualified to sponsor my relative (so, it´s through email now?). I can say the email is genuine because the info ties up with what I see in my application´s status online at CIC website). In the said email, it was also indicated that my relative´s PR application has been forwarded to Canada Embassy in Manila for further processing.
It´s been 2.5 months now but my relative has not received any notice from the Embassy that they already got my relative´s PR application. It´s kind of uncertainty of what to expect next. Well, I followed up Manila Embassy but it seems they forward an automated reply. I asked if they would notify my relative but the automatic reply says it´s under processing. For peace of my and my relative´s mind, should they be at least first advise my relative that indeed they have the PR application.
Does anyone in this forum has the same situation, please share your experience and thoughts.

You need to find out whether this ,s a prank or a genuine email, because all I know they send you a letter immediately and another copy to the sponsored person with all the details of application forms, normally they don´t send emails,
