Hi,
I am interested in applying PR to Canada. Before doing this, I have one question. Does title of your profession have to be exactly the same as listed under 29 categories of occupation?
I mean to say, I am working as PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SCIENTIST in a FOOD company and similar titles falling under occupation list are:
-Food Products Scientist
-Food Research Scientist
-Food Scientist
Am I eligible for PR application? I have more than 1 yr. of full time paid experience.

To qualify to apply through the federal skilled worker program without a job offer in Canada, your occupation must appear on the list of 29. I don´t see anything on the list of 29 occupations that matches your occupation (maybe I´m missing something obvious):

OK so I qualify to apply, if EXACT SAME TITLE is not required.
where do I find duties and skills required for particular title as per Canada immigration?
Should I apply under Federal scheme or Quebec immigration? which one is quicker and easier? I do not know French at all.
Plz. advise.
