Hello!
I have a question regarding if I can stay overseas while the PR visa for my wife gets completed. Here is my story.
I am a Canadian citizen, but I have been living and working out of Canada for 3 years now, in Serbia.
I plan to get married with the girl that has a citizenship of Bosnia & Herzegovina this fall.
Since I didn´t live and work in Canada for the last 3 years (but I did for 7 years prior to my departure, paid off all my student loan, saved money etc), will there be a problem with myself being legitimate sponsor, or should I also include my parents who live in Canada and are also citizens, as sponsorship co-applicants for my wife, or they will want me to return back to Canada before, get a job and then apply?
As a proof that I plan to return and live in Canada can I use the ownership papers of the apartment that I took mortgage for together with my parents, will that be satisfactory proof?
I would just like to stay together with my future wife in Bosnia before the papers get completed so that we can go back to Canada together once she gets her PR Visa.

Since you are a citizen, you can sponsor your wife while living outside of Canada. Provide as much evidence as you can to show that you have plans to return to Canada once your wife´s sponsorship is approved.
You cannot include your parents as co-sponsors.

Is the proof of the ownership of property a good proof that I intend to live there with my wife upon return, since that property is being rented at the moment?
Does anyone have any other suggestions what to use as a solid proof that I am returning to live in Canada?
I will write a letter also, or my biography to let them know that one of the reasons why I went back to my country is to get married and create a family and move back to Canada.
