How can Cooks, Chef´s, Crane Operators, Plumbers, Heavy Duty Mechanics,Drillers and Blasters, and Welders get the 67 points necessary to even apply. Most of these occupations are not the occupations that require a University degree. Nor are these occupations one that the applicant living in a foreign country would need to use English or French to function.

These occupations are honorable occupations that earn far better than average salaries. What the government is not focusing on is that any person (new immigrant) in one of the above mentioned occupations is far more likely to be employed in the first three months of residency that the positions with the CAP´s already reached.

How come common sense is in such short supply at CIC? Fix the list, NOW!

This is an Immigration Forum and Discussion site.

I was starting a discussion about FSW Ministerial Instructions list CAP´s being reached and other Occupations no where near having their CAP´s reached.
