I got married six months ago in the USA. My wife is a US Citizen and I an Canadian. My intention is to get her to Canada ASAP but I was told that there could be implications and to be careful before making applications to Immigration Canada.
1. Is it better for my wife to apply from the USA
2. Is it better if she comes to Canada as a tourist and the apply for PR
3. What should I tell to the US border when I cross, Vacation or Visit my wife in the USA?
4. What should my wife tell the Canadian border, Vacation or visit my husband in Canada?

Outland applications are most recommended because faster and right to appeal.

When you say Outland application, does it means the regular process where my wife applies for PR from the USA and I do her request for PR from Canada?

Hi Bruno,
Anonymous means, you have to apply to CPC MISSISSAUGA office in Family class - spouse and dependent children. Once your application will be approved for sponsoring her, it will be transferred to USA Buffalo office and from there she will get PR if everything turn out well.
In this outland application, you have the chance to appeal against the decision and as mentioned earlier, it is much faster compared to inland application.
While your application would be in process, you both can visit each other as required and can show the trip visit, food bills, telephone bills etc.. as a proof of your genuine relationship.

I have all the papers in order and ready to send them. I have collected all the trips and associated bills for the last three years.....including pictures and affidavits from friends and relatives
