OK so when two CBSA officers came to my house, they were not in any uniform, drove up in a marked car, did not show ID and produced an ammended business card with a scratched out offers name on it and then a hand written other name! WTH...they took my common-law´s passport and told him to call the number on the card in a few days.
Any comments? I wasn´t home but my partner was scared and just complied with everything. When I got home I asked how he knew they were really officers from "immigration" I said. He said he just believed them.

Actually yes CBSA gets shinny badges, business cards and marked vehicles. You shouldn´t talk of what you don´t know.
