Subject: Canadian Study Visa for Private Institution |

|
|
Hello,
Hoping some may be able to help with input of shared experience regarding whether or not it is at all possible for an international student to successfully apply for a student visa to attend a private institution which is not yet registered with its province´s Ministry of Education.
Is this at all possible?
Than you for all input,

Study in Canada in a private institution (in reply to: Canadian Study Visa for Private Institution) Hello,
I work for CDI College in Montreal which is a private but recognized school (holding a permit from the Ministry of Education). We have many international students.
I would tend to say you can get a study permit even for a non-registered school, if the program is longer than six months, but best option would be to double-verify with CIC.
