Subject: If my marital status will change during applying
  Hi
I have a question.We was applying for canadian citizenship.We sent all papers and are waiting for the answer.I am main applicant.But me and my wife want to divorce.We have two kids (9 and 7 years old).If we will divirce, could my wife still apply for citizenship with me or no?Can i delete her name from my applications?What about kids?We are permanent residences.

There are only two types of applicants this time, which are Adults and kids.

And

During the application process, you must advise us of any change of address or telephone number by:
 going to www.cic.gc.ca, click on Change My Address in the I Need To … section on the right-hand side of the page, or
 see How to Contact CIC at the end of this Guide.

I have a question.We am planning to apply for canadian citizenship.I am main applicant.But if i apply now ( August 2010)i have to apply single as i m getting married in November 2010.Can i add his name in my applications now by showing the future date?

Citizenship applications are seemingly treated as independent.

There is no principle applicant unless someone under 18 comes on board.

Family members may submit their applications in one envelope and one processing receipt.
