Subject: Skilled Professional PR - can my wife land alone? |

Hi,
I´ve secured a COPR under the Skilled Professional program along with my family. I´d like to know if its possible for my wife to enter Canada alone and start setting up residence there so that I can continue to work & earn in my present country while she sets things up.
Is her PR independent of mine or do I need to land before she does? How does it work? Due to current job commitments, I´m unable to land in Canada so I wanted to know if she can land alone before the landing visa expires.
Thanks
Sumen

(in reply to: Skilled Professional PR - can my wife land alone?) You are required to land before or at the same time as your dependents

(in reply to: Skilled Professional PR - can my wife land alone?) Thanks Sharon.
A follow up question....
if I land & get my PR but my wife can´t land with me or before her Visa expires, can I apply for a family sponsorship for her ... again? How easy is this and how long does is normally take compared to a standard Skilled Worker application?
Thanks again!

(in reply to: Skilled Professional PR - can my wife land alone?) it is possible but you will need to be residing in Canada to make it all happen. Family class outland applications: 8-18 months.
