| Subject: Interest on my Bank Account |

Hello all, Canadian Citizen sponsoring wife, residing and working part time in Europe, i have $90,000 US Dollar in my CD (certificate of deposit) savings account in Europe, i make interest on this amount $5000/year, shall i mention to CRA about this $90,000 in a letter/statement from the bank as checking account with no interest on it made or mention the $5000/year interest i make ???
If i tell them about the profit interest i make, will CanadaRA Tax me on it ????

they will tax you on the interest only. bring the money here and boost the casino business.

Thank You for your reply, i shall not tell CRA about this amount while filing my Tax Return but shall let CIC know about the amount in a letter from bank for immigration Sponsorship, will CIC looking at my option C tell me why i didnot mention this amount while declaring my tax return with CRA ??
