Subject: Unemployment rate at its worse
If you are well established in your country, stay where ever you are. There is nothing in Canada for new immigrants, even for locals. Not even labour jobs!!! Well tell me to shut up and not to discourage others. Go ahead and you will be writing a comment like this in your very near future.

Well said EI, but wait a minute,I think you are discouraging people, do not do that oki ? I am sure immigrants can still find a job, mmm let me think, they can do all the shitty jobs that Canadians NEVER do, such as working at Gas stations, McDonalds, restaurants (washing dishes- cleaning floors, peeling onions), or what about Tim or Starbucks, isnt it suprising somehow those who do such jobs are almost all immigrants or their kids...So EI they can definetely find such jobs, and later buy a nice car and a beautiful house...wowowowo ... As an immigrant and now citizen I have a BMW and a 5 room house... ( Did somebody say keep on dreamning?)

Please, all prospective immigrants, please please come to canada immigration consultants (money money yummy) need you, Canada needs you, please come here with all your diplomas, certificates, or even Masters, you need them to burn when nights are cold here...

Hey tomtom, are you out of your mind??? How about that $15k you have to bring with you when landing for the first time? Canada needs that. Government allows you to come here with that money and spend it around. Once you done its up to you to leave Canada or not, because you not gonna earn much. The bottom line is Canada gets rich by $15K or what ever you bring in with you. Thats how we strong hold our economy during recession by increasing the number on immigration intake while other countries decrease it.

what´s wrong with 4 year old shoes? I own several pair. Not sure where you immigrated from but maybe you should recall how many people there wear shoes that are 4 years old. How many have only 1 pair of shoes... or perhaps no shoes at all.

nobody has chained you to Canada - so if we are not meeting your expectations, there is a plane that leaves here ever minute to just about anywhere you want to go.

other option is to get over yourself and quit complaining.

$10,000 per month??? you are joking... right?

Average household income in Canada is $47,000 a year or $3,900 per month and that is before taxes.

depending on the province, minimum wage (read - little or no skills required for the job) is $8/hr. which translates into $16,640 per year. You will pay very little taxes but that works out to about $1,400 a month.

MacDonalds is a minimum wage job.

where did you hear that you can come here and earn $10,000 a month? No wonder people come here and are unhappy.
