| Subject: Get married before validating the PR Visa |

Hi,
I Got my PR visa in November, I will get married to Canadian citizen in June. I informed the Canadian embassy about the future changes ( getting married before the validation ) they informed me that I have to contact them after the wedding and before traveling to Canada in order to change my Visa and the IMM
Im wondering how long will it take to change it? can it be done in one day ? my future husband is Canadian citizen.
anybody can answer my question please?

The embassy said you can just send us the passport and IMM+ marriage contract, but I would prefer to do it face to face..I heard also from a frein maybe if I go to canada before the wedding will be an alternative solution..but it will cost money to fly from Europe to Canada

i don´t know why don´t u go to Canada...land....and then get married. wouldn´t be easier and less headache?
