Hi, got my student visa, but my question is : if there will be tax on the money that I will take with me or transfer to Canada to support my studies while I am there for two years ?
Thank you

(in reply to: VERY GOOD NEWS) No, first time I went to Canada I was on a student visa and when i filled my tax form with a certified tax accountant she told me that this is not an income therefore nontaxable. the bank might ask you for record of possession or something like that if you transfer more than $ 10,000 US
lol

(in reply to: VERY GOOD NEWS) Thanks Polina. Is it true that I can change my student Visa status to Permenant if I found a job contract? and keep studying ?
