Dear all,
when sending to the Embassy the full application package for SW category, I indicated that I have CAD 50,000. As we passed medicals, the Embassy requested proof of funds and I sent them bank statement with considerably bigger amount. The chunk of which came from the sale of my residential apartment. My application was delayed eversince for over 6 mths. The CAIPS note for the date of receipt of the bank statement reads: ´PLSE REVIEW APPLCTS BK STMT AND WORK EXP´. Would anybody please advise what can be made out of the CAIPS wording? Can the Embassy be suspecious of the bigger amount and therefore delay my application? But the problem is that the Embassy has not asked me for the source of funds so far!

Please review applicants bank statement and work experience.
Probably just want to make sure everything is accurate.

you should send explanation letter atached with your bank statment.
Always guys when you are asked for docs , and soome explanation is needed don t esitate to write a letter to explain..

CAIPS to show what is being checked? (in reply to: Dear all,

Are CAIPS notes supposed to show what exactly they are checking? Because my recent CAIPS shows only this:
23-Jun-2008: Received: bank stmnt and orig UK PC issued in Dec 2007. JF
23-Jun-2008: ADL-PLSE REVIEW APPLCTS BK STMT AND WORK EXP. DGL
25-Jun-2008: EKL - PLS LIST. ADL
18-Jul-2008: Medical assessment notified to Visa on 18-Jul 2008
21-Jul-2008: FILE BF´D TO ON 17-01-2009. EKL
To me, it looks that after receipt of meds results, EKL just moved review of my case to 17 Jan 09. Does that mean that the Embassy has not been doing any checks since 21 July-08? And what this ´PLS LIST´ may mean? Would somebody please help figure this out.
