hi everybody
i am from india.its almost four years now, since i applied for pr from cic delhi, thru a mumbai based immigration consultant. cic has asked me to sumbit all the revised documents with proof of funds and other relevant documents duly notarised. my consultant makes me feel the immigration process to be a cake walk , but i am confused after i heard to all the stories in the canada immi forum . pls help me by providing the real and true story. how is the interview drama , what are the questions they usually ask and mostly related to what matter . if the spouse is not from english medium then how the case is treated. me being the pricipal applicant, interview for me won´t be a problem. i want reply from those who are aware of this kind of situation. thanks

Interview is not conducted to verify your English ability. Now a days interview is conducted if they cannot verify some of the information in your file or security interview or random case (files are picked at random to assess the quality of current immigration policy).

Samm is right. Don´t be concerned about the interview. They just want to verify few things on application, mainly for security purposes. However, you need to be prepared so that your answer and clear and straightforward..get familair with the questions they ask from the forums..Be honest and don´t try to hide anything you are asked about..otherwise this will lead to an immediate denial for your application..a very simple thing for the immigration officer and very costly to you!
