Roy, you see, I wanted to wait until this bad new rule has been done and there is no future for me in Canada from now, right?
I have 7+ more years of IT System Administrator in the BANK and there are no options for me now!!!
I am totally dissapointed

before you jump off a cliff, look at the list of duties for each of the positions. duties are more important that title.
and, there is still the PNP or the arranged employment option.

Sharon knows some about you and so do I but the others reading your post do not so let me explain.
Your the type of individual that triple checks to make sure every t is crossed and every i is dotted three times before you make a decision.
You have seen here that reckless decisions really hurt people when it comes to Immigration. Now you seem to think that all is lost because you were slower then a Turtle to make a decision on which route to take.
Not so.
Sharon gave you super advice which you already knew but is it the right decision?
Should I not do this, no maybe I should do that, what about this, when is the right time, will the grass on the other side of the fence be greener?
Whoops IT person - Cows push down fences to get at the grass on the other side of the fence because they think it tastes better. LOL
Sharon likes to beat up on Ontario´s economy and I pick on her Conservative buddies but mostly in fun. On Sunday I was in the Oshawa Centre Mall where most of the the people in the city work for GM and you would of been amazed that almost every single person had a bag of recently purchased items in their hands. BIG BAGS full of stuff.
I have a couple of clients who work in the IT field and six weeks ago all hiring was put on hold but that has all changed. Certain companies over reacted by listening to Lou Dobbs of CNN.
Consumer confidence is back big time even in Oshawa!

Dear Sharon and Roy,
I would like to thank you both for helping me in the past and now. I have been in this forum for the last 3 years, and I didnt apply because I thought that I could not get enough points and since February all of us wanted to know that new immigration rules will be changing soon to reduce immigration backlog.
Roy you are very smart person, because already you know my personality that I was not able to decide in applying... and the reasin was that I thought new immigration system will be faster than previous one.
I don´t understand Sharon, could you please specify in more depth about duties for each position... ( can you provide me the link please)...
Roy, now since you know my situation can you please tell me what to do. how do I find my self in this system, because I know that getting a job offer is impossible from outside and PNP program is too hard...

do exactly what I did - google NOC codes. punch in the numbers that CIC has listed. hit ´view all´. It is not rocket science and anyone with a little bit of gumption and internet skills can do it... or is it easier to assume the door is shut.
getting a job offer is too hard, PNP is too hard, life is too hard. I don´t think you really want to come!!!!
Your indecision and defeatist attitude is a dead give away.
do yourself a favour. Stop pretending you want to do something you don´t and make a life for yourself exactly where you are. You are wasting valuable living time thinking about something you will never do.

Dont forget that I used to be Canadian Student that why I am in love with Canada,
My life here in Balkan is not bad or better saying is very good, but if I had the opportunity to immigrate there I would definitively GO
Half of the people from my country that are Canadian Citizens are not living in Canada anymore, they find their hometown a good place to live, and in a few years we will join EU and as you may know, Eu Citizens do not require Visa anymore and even immigrating will be much easier, because you can go to Canada as a visitor, get a job and later apply...

~This is not automatic because you are a member of the EU. I am British and I can not "go to Canada as a visitor, get a job and later apply..." Not legally, anyways. Please correct me if I am wrong!!

Hi Karen,
My idea is that in this forum there are 2 types of people, (1. people that can visit Canada as a visitor) and (2.people that need a visa to visit Canada).
You belong to number 1, right!
I meant that you are much in favor comparing to others, because you can at least go there and visit, study, and meantime if you are successful you can do it, while I was there as a student, my housemate did that thing, worked part time with his student visa, and his employer offered him a job and he applied and got PR.
THIS IS THE BENEFIT of EU people
I didn´t mean automatically, but easier way.
Also I have a question about Sharon?
Why we should google NOC, why those are not published at CIC web!!!

Speedoflight, let me clarify something here.
The fact that you are a EU citizen doesn´t mean that you can enter Canada as a turist and then switch to a student visa or a work visa. You have to apply for it outside of Canada like everyone else.
Immigration regulations are not different for EU citizens. The only thing might be that you are not required to have a visitors visa to VISIT Canada. JUST TO VISIT.
If you have a student permit you may get a work permit but not because you are EU, that applies to everyone else as well.

There is a huge difference between Europe and Canada, Canadian culture, politeness and friendship that I saw in Canada you can´t find anywhere else and many many things.........

You are very correct, but still EU citizens are in a huge advantage entering Canada without a visa or easier approval for a student visa (you have to know that, it is EASIER) even if you change your status.... (comparing to the rest of the world that thinks that CANADA is a paradise)
