If an application falls under IRRP 117...and CIC probably will reject the application forever:

how do they notify the applicant? what does the notice say specifically?

and for how long will they notify the applicant after submission of spousal application?

just curious guys...

thanks

I assume you mean 117 (9) (d) in that the original PR never declared the dependent before obtaining status.

If this is the case and you are the sponsor be aware they will probably come after you too.

Most people who are so silly after getting married when their FSW application is almost done sometimes fail to declare the new partner and think they will go first, get established, then bring the partner. DUMB!!!

If this is the case I would worry more about the partner finding out then Immigration coming after the sponsor.

Yes Roy. thats what i mean.

I know somebody (a caregiver)who just did that. With assumption of securing the PR first, not changing status.

too confident that spouse can follow after.

INSPITE of my many warnings from what i learned here...

didnt listen....

feel sorry...

i guess people with same case dont usually post their experience here.
