| Subject: Need help with NAFTA work permit |

My prospective employer in Saskatchewan informed me that they did not need a LMO approval. I don´t think that´s correct. I have a NOC classification of 2253. I am a U.S. Citizen. I´ve been looking all over the cic website and the HRSDC website and i can´t seem to find anything.
What am i overlooking? Can anyone give me some insight??

Have you asked them why they dont need LMO? Its possible as a US citizen that you can work under NAFTA and hence dont need the LMO. But you want to check on that.

Also, what job is this for? If its one of the 7 software categories, you dont need an LMO.
