Subject: Can my spouse stay and work
I´m Canadian citizen ( From Quebec)

My girlfriend is from Finland. She is coming here this summer and we will get married. Is it possible for her to stay with me after that without being Canadian or permanent resident ?

If so... Can she apply to be a permanent resident and meanwhile can She work in Canada or must she stay at home doing nothing ? Can she also study is she pays the internationals fees or must she go back home to apply for visas and stuff ???

Well when one wants the best of both worlds sometimes they get neither, unless it is done correctly.

When your GF arrives she will be all excited to see you (maybe) and may have her dog and her pots and pans with her and she will be put right back on the plane to Oslo.

If she says the right thing and is admitted on with your plans. No spousal sponsorship inland can work or study until approved stage one which is about six months away or two years if kicked for an interview.

Do it the way they want submit through London much faster and safer.
