hi..
I desperately need some info abt immigrating to Canada. We are in India and my huby is a registered Architect here. he has around 5 years of experience. we would want to migrate to Canada in particular BC(we like the place). can anyone tell us the scope for an architect there and about how to proceed??

don´t even consider a skilled worker application - it will take FOREVER. 6-8 years at best.
He needs to find a fit with an employer that will offer him work. I know it is not easy, and it will take time but to be perfectly honest - they are creating new rules at the moment that will make an application with no job attached very frustrating.

Hi,
Visit web site of Citizenship and Immigration, Canada. Read all rules( including latest amendments) and procedure. For a job in his profession he must have Canadian work references.
