| Subject: When will my PPR come? |
I submitted my medicals on Nov1,2007 and have been waiting for the passport request (PPR) since then. Any idea how long it takes after sending in medicals, to get the PPR. My case is in Buffalo, NY office.

mine were submitted Aug1, 2007... still nothing. But apparently that doesn´t mean anything. In this case, "no news, good news" applies.
I guess we got the procastinating officer reviewing our case.

Well, in my case everything has been completed. Only awaiting PPR. How long does it usually take after submittng medicals to get PPR?

from a waiting perspective, your case = my case... why did you think otherwise?
...what I´m trying to say is that even though most people (who are just waiting for PPR, like us) receive their request a few weeks after the medicals, for some of us it takes longer.

It took me a little more than 1 month to get PPR after medicals was done. But you might have to wait a bit longer since CIC seems busy at the end of the year plus there´s a series of holidays between Nov, 2007 and Jan, 2008 such as Christmas, Boxing days, New Year.

I have been waiting for 4.5 months and still nothing. You have to be patient, for some people it just takes more time

i received my PPR (jan 2008) three months after medical. ive sent all the passports and could somebody tell me what´s next?
