I had been in England for 10 months 10 years ago. Do I have to submit a police certificate from England?
Thank you for reply.

(in reply to: Do I have to have England police certificate) Looks like yes, since you lived there for 10 months. Here´s CIC´s requirement for police certificates:
"You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18."

Consecutive months ?? (in reply to: Do I have to have England police certificate) I was in Singapore for 6 months, but went back to my country in between for 1 week. Do I still need Singapore Police Certificate ?
I am filing my Canada PR application in Buffalo office and the instruction document of this office does not mention that it need to be a CONSECUTIVE stay of 6 months.

(in reply to: Do I have to have England police certificate) One week might be considered too short to be a break in your Singapore stay. I would try to get the Singapore police certificate just to be sure. Consecutive is how they define it at the official CIC website.

(in reply to: Do I have to have England police certificate) Consulate will specifically mention a list of coutries for which they need police clearance certificates in the documents sent during medicals.
avoid going for police clearance from some countries until specifically asked to do so.
