Subject: Medicals and One year??
The visa office states they received my medicals 10th Jan 2007. We then asked for extension since I had to submit a couple of police
certificates and the extension was granted till Oct 5, 2007.
Do I have to land in Canada within One year of doing my medicals?
i have read about the one year rule from medicals date.
Can anyone elaborate on this?
Thanks!

Yes, medicals are valid for only one year from the date of examination. You may try if the need arise for extension but extension for medicals are rarely granted. In your case rare scenario seems even more rare cause the delay is not from their side but yours. Better do new medicals or try to meet the deadline.
