Subject: Proof of funds- quick question
I guess this is a common question. I have already submitted my documents I just want to know if it is OK or not.

For proof of funds, can you show bank statement, certified letter and affidivit in a FOREIGN CURRENCY ? All documents were up to date, half of our funds were in US dollars and the other half in Indian Rupees.

Without the "indian part" we cannot reach the minimum so my question is "Is it acceptable ?" .. in case if they ask proof of funds again it will be a hassle to get the "indian part of the paperwork" again. We were in India last time to get original documents but by the time the IA comes, it will be outdated by a year. And we are not returning this time.

What do you think ?

#1 Foreign currency acceptable ?
#2 Will they ask again ... I mean how likely ? I can see hassle ahead we just want to be prepared. Thanks!

If the funds in your name and are transferable then its fine. However, be prepared to get a request for proof of funds at IA time as it happens but again not to all.
