Hi,
I am a Filipino Citizen.I am currently residing in US on my permanent resident card(greencard). I am planning on entering Canada from the Philippines next year to work there. What are the immigration paperworks do I have to prepare. Do you think they will ask for a police clearance from US.and also Do I have to apply for a working permit when I am there? What should I do..
Thanks

No, you cannot apply for a work permit while you are in Canada, not under your current situation anyway.
You must apply from outside of Canada for a temporary work permit.
You can start here:

they are right.. (in reply to: US greencard holder wanted to work in Canada.) your green card doesn´t mean anything in respect to working in canada. you need a work permit, and you definitely need to have before you arrive.
