Hi: there
This is my situation. Could anyone know Canada immigration law give some advice?
My boyfriend is eligible to apply Canada Green Card; we plan to marry after he receives the Card. Assuming we marry as planned, as a Canada Green Card Holder?s wife, do I need wait outside the Canada? How long is the waiting time?
Thank you for your time
Jessie

(in reply to: Could anyone know Canada immigration law give some) Not knowing which country you would have to apply from look at the list and add 50 days approx for processing from within Canada. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/05-fc-spouses.html
If you are a US citizen apply outside but come on up and stay with him while processing takes place.

Diesel Mechanics/Heavey Equipment Mechanics are on the occupational list and I would recommend if he has any accredittation that he look to Northern Alberta Oil Sands to seek out employment and apply for a PNP certificate. If he has become an Israeli he will not require a CVV so he can come and seek out employment and basically relocate with a WP (reg. 11) and begin working while his application for a SW PNP is in process.
