| Subject: Arrested by Americans |

Predicament ? I came to Canada on student visa which expired and went with a few friends to party in Buffalo. I have been arrested by American Customs and Border Protection officers at the Peace Bridge. I asked my friends to send this e-mail to see what my options are. I am in detention in immigration holding cell in Buffalo. What can I do, the Americans have threatened me with deportation to India and no bail or bond.

given that you have no status in Canada, and you were in the US without a VISA, I think you are on a plane to India.
try and get yourself a US lawywer but you must understand if the US lets you go and you come back to Canada there is nothing to suggest Canada will allow you in.
