How many days for landing formalities

Subject: How many days for landing formalities
  My current program does not permit me to stay longer on my first trip to Canada (when I land). Here are my questions:

1) How many days will it take to do the SSN, Medical Card and other foramlities in Toronto?

2) I read about PR card being expedited? Has anyone any experience in that?
