Subject: Is Laminated Original Document will be a problem ?
I heard someone told me that Laminated documents are not valid during the PR processing.

My marriage certificate we had laminated to keep it neat... Will tat cause a potential problem...

Give your views.... plz....

I had my educational certs laminated when i had my Interview for the student visa in the CAN High comm. I got the visa. No such prob.

I would not deliberately do it. There are some documents where they want to examine the paper- yes, the paper for authenticity.

Believe it or not, IO can tell.

I understand that, but in my case I´ve already laminated marriage certificate and my wife´s birth certificate.
Do you think they need to check paper quality of these 2 documents ?
My or my wife´s educational certificates are not laminated.

I think education documents are the biggest concern for being fraudulent. I would not laminate those if at all possible.

all of my diplomas are laminated;I copied them, had them notarized, and they were completely acceptable to CIC. Good luck.
