Hi to all! 100 percent sure na ba ako makakaalis? All my requirements for work permit have been submitted including job offer and confirmation from my employer.Except medical exam..is there any hassles pa ba? I would like to hear some experiences from those applied for work permit. How many weeks will it take to process? I´m in doubt lang and excited.

MEdical depends on where you are from and what type of job.
for example: UK citizens wouldn´t need one (unless they lived ina country that you do need one for 6 months in the p[ast 12 montsh). but if they come to work as doctors, then they would need.

No one needs medical certificate if they are just applying for 6 months work permit. And any duration above it needs medical test to be conducted.
And here is the game... if you want your work permit in your hand as early as possible then apply for 6 months you will get it in surprisingly fast. Then once you are in Canada make sure you are applying for extension of WP before 1.5 month expiration of your work permit.[It can be ieally 1 o 2 yrs.]
You will get WP within that time frame and then you will be asked for do medical tests for you and your family members.
It´s really very simple and straight forward.

hi! i am also in the process of applying for a work permit. my agency told me they just submitted all my credentials and application last week. how long did it took you to get a response from the embassy? what response did you get by then?
