hi there.. update:
application submitted: dec 2004
aor: march 2005
transfer to NY: jan 2006
IA: feb 2006
meds done: Feb 2006
documents: last week of april 2006 (RPRF $975)
letter asking to submit new rprf of 475 received in the 3rd of week of may 2006
sent revised rprf last week
today: ecas updated to meds received!!
is this a good news. when should i get a PPR request?

Normally within a couple weeks, you should get a PP request. Let us know on the actuals though. Is the fee now reduced to 475? and do you have to send that without CIC asking for it after the medicals are done?

sorry the fee asked was CAD 490. that was an error.

i had sent old rprf before the the new fees came into effect. i thought they would just give me refund later but they sent a letter asking for the revised fee. I think they waited until i deposited the new fee. after that they changes my ecas to meds received.

Hi Anonymous,
Great New ! I am going to take a guess and relying on the
speed at which the applications are being processed at NY office, you should definitely get your PPR by end of this month; unless there was some problem with the medicals,hope not.

I did my medicals in March, additional documents in April, I am expecting the status to change by end of this month.My doctor told me it takes about 3 months for the visa office to receive medicals. Will keep you posted.
What was the exact date of your medicals in Feb ?
