I thought I am almost over with my paper work with Canada after sending required documents to LA office per IA. I sent my documents thru USPS - express mail and requested Signature. I checked USPS website and my letter was not delivered with this message "We attempted to deliver your item at 11:28 AM on May 04 2006 in LA, CA 90017 and a notice was left"
Now what will happen to the letter? Mine deadline is May-10th. If it doesn´t deliver before this date then I would be over 90 days and I am sure they will not consider it after that.
Pls. help help help.. Anybody is having same exp...

USPS will try and deliver it again. Also contact a USPS rep.

You delayed it until the ROLF is halved, eh? You were asking repeatedly if you could send the documents without the ROLF. May be, this is the punishment.
I am kidding, you will be fine. What happens is that the deliverly man makes that remarks during the first attempt to deliver but failed to find someone to find someone to sing and receive. According to the policies, they will have to try after some time interval .. etc. Check it online again tomorrow, you will find it delivered. It is could that because the immigration office was closed at 11:00 this time.

Don´t worry it will be picked up tomorrow. I got into the same confusion earlier. I don´t think they deliver. The consulate picks up the mail daily AM. So when the mail reaches the post office, they mark it this way. If you check the Additional Details link in USPS, you can see that the arrival time and the note left time are awfully close.
