i believe police clearance is valid for 6 months and then it expires..

it takes 8-10 weeks but u can get it done earlier incase u have a dealine. Do mention the deadline on top of envelope and on the request letter

It is 6 months , but cic considers it valid for 1 year, so it is good for 1 year.

Could you please tell me how lone the FBI clearance usually takes, I already applied for it on July 8,2010 and no replay so far.The certificate I will need for immigration to Canada

Hi i got my FBI clearance on the 28th April 2009.In May of 2009, i moved out of USA and went to Dubai, UAE. I have applied for Immigration to Canada, how do i get a fresh FBI clearance? I am currently in Dubai. Thank u !!!
