Subject: medical form received, but one question |

I received the medical form today with a page of letter saying I am required to undergo a medical exam. But it doesn´t say anything abou t interview or additional documents. On the reverse of letter, There is one sentense saying " if you have been notified that you will be required to attend a personal interview, you should not schedule medical exam until you receive the interview notice"
I didn´t receive any letter from consulate regarding to interview before. Does it mean my interveiw has been waivered?
Does anyone has any idea on that? Thank you!

(in reply to: medical form received, but one question) You are probably missing your cover letter which starts off "Dear Sir/Madam: This refers to your application for permanenent residence in Canada. We have now completed the initial assessment....."
This is the first page in the package with a sticker on the left hand corner with the applicants name/address/file # on it and a stamped date on the right hand corner.
If you dont have this letter, you are missing an important page...especially since this contains info on your interview and additional documents.
I suggest you email Buffalo (which is where I assume you applied)...or fax or mail them.

(in reply to: medical form received, but one question) Thank you Candice. I didn´t have the cover letter which you mentioned. All I have in the envolop are a page of letter, two medical forms (my and my wife´s), and Doctor´s list. In the letter, they use " Dear applicant", and on the right hand corner there is a stamped FN and Date. It looks like a unformed letter.
My application has been transferred to NYC on March 8, and I got a letter a week after transferring asking me to submit 4 photographs for medical forms, and I got the ME this week. I´ve sent email to NYC and waiting for reply.

Should I undergo medical exam? (in reply to: medical form received, but one question) From CIC letter:
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for a permanent resident status as a Member of the Live-in Caregiver Class. However , a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements have been met. If applicable , all your family members , both in Canada and Abroad, must pass a medical and background checks even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time...
Questions : 1. Is this the letter that telling me to undergo medical exam?
2.How long is the waiting period to undergo medical exam if they received my application last December 16,2013?
