| Subject: Is there any problem asking for CAIPS many times? |
Hello guys,Is there any problem asking for CAIPS many times? , as I need to be updated every months since I expect a decision made ,I have requested CAIPS for 3 times so far within the last 3 months,does that refelct any delays or negative impressions?

I dont think so,there will be any delay. I have done it about 4 times (over many years though), however as you must have noticed in your 2nd or 3rd CAIPS notes that there will be an entry about release of information through the freedom of ---act.
Honestly, it really doesnt make sense if you keep ordering CAIPS every few months. Its great if you want it before an interview. Otherwise you can email them for the status.

The email would depend on your visa post, you can get it online at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/offices/missions.html,
also Iam sure you might know this, that you can check for eCAS under online services at www.cic.gc.ca
Sometimes the replies to emails are just diplomatic answers and the online status does not get updated that fast. In that case CAIPS notes is great but 3 times in 3 months is just too much.

Indeed.. order it twice a year and email them twice.. 4 times a year would be ok..
