The work visa I am on runs out in march I thought I could extend it while my girlfriend and I pursued a common-law visa.But I have now found out that it is not extendable my only option is for my employer to sponser me on a work visa while we await the common-law visa otherwise I cant work until the common-law visa is aproved.My time is running out! so I have heared that there is a bridging visa where I bridge the current work visa over while awaiting response on the employer sponsered visa even though my current visa is not extendable.
Is this true?
