Is it possible to get an IMMIGRANT visa in New York City NOT Buffalo? Any experience?

Only the consulate handling your case can issue your visa. Therefore if your case is being processed in Buffalo they will issue your visa.

Send a request to buffalo immediately. They may arrange it to get it from NY. It happened with one of my friend. Email them today or fax them. Let us know in the forum what they say, Good luck.
