Subject: Medicals question
I have received IA with interview waiver, my question is whether is it ok if I get my medical exam done by the end of 60 days or does my medical results have to reach CIC Buffalo within 60 days of my IA issual. Meaning does my doc have to send the medical results within the 60 days of issual of IA, please let me know as I am confused.

Your medical results have to reach CIC Buffalo within 60 days of my IA issual date.

Med results will be send by Doc. not by you. (Ask him for confirmation or tracking no)

Do not take any risk, it may delay your PR processing. Day by day CIC is receiving more application; with having limited resources.

Get the medical done whenever you can. If you can get an appointment for the medical exam within the next 60 days great, if you cant then get the next available date.

At this point your background and security checks have been initiated which can take anywhere from 3 months to well over a year to complete.

kenny I have my IA too and got to do my medicals in the next 60 days, its already 10 days since i recieved my IA and have not done my medicals yet, my next appointment with a doc is next week on Nov 30, my IA is Nov 1st. So what should I do to make sure doc sends medical results by December end, because he said it takes 15 days for results to come and then he has to mail it, is it ok if its later than 60 days, wont CIC reject my application if it takes more than 60 days after issual of IA by the time they get medicals from doc..any workaround..can i tell doc to speed mail it by paying him extra..im also in trouble..

as long as you do your medicals during these 60 days, you r fine.
even if you are late, you are fine. Just inform them that you did your best to make it in time.
