Toronto is the capital city of Ontario. Toronto is also the multicultural, entertainment, financial, and business capital of Canada. In Toronto there lives about 4.5 million people.

In general Toronto is a clean and safe city with a wonderful network of park, recreational, and cultural facilities. Toronto is the home of four professional sports teams: Toronto Maple Leafs(hockey), Toronto Blue Jays (baseball), Toronto Raptors (basketball), and the Toronto Argonauts (football).


Toronto's people are very proud of the CN Tower because it is the tallest freestanding structure in the world. The CN Tower measures in at a height of 553.33 meters (see images on the top of this page).
