Apr. 12, 2007 | President Claude Lajeunesse is pleased to announce the appointment of Sanjay Sharma as Dean of the JMSB for a five-year term beginning August 1, 2007 and ending on June 30, 2012.

?Dr. Sharma comes to Concordia with a unique background that combines outstanding scholarship and academic leadership with 16 years of senior management experience with international corporations. In many ways, his career exemplifies the Concordia model of real life experience matched by academic excellence,? said President Lajeunesse.

?Dr. Sharma is eminently qualified to lead our business school to even greater recognition as a centre of academic excellence and involvement in the business community. His high level of achievement and proven record of success is impressive and he will be a welcome member of Concordia?s leadership team.?

Dr. Sanjay Sharma is currently the Canada Research Chair in Organizational Sustainability and Professor of Policy in the School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario

Yes, and I´ll make a prediction that the Molson school will be ranked Canada´s #1 Business school by 2010 with the new dean and the new building.
