I have heard most companies only hire the best, since UofT is the best, does that mean all the good jobs only go to UofT grads? So a guy from Queen´s or Western or McMaster, etc cannot compete against a guy from UofT in the job market, is that true? I heard the above comment from a relative of mine.

This really worries me now, because I am currently a McMaster student. I am planning to transfer to UofT, because I don´t want to work at a fast food joint after I graduate. I can only hope what she said to me is not true.

are degrees from McMaster taken seriously by employers? Or do they only care about students from UofT? What my aunt said to me really worries me now!

Frankly, UofT degree is just a joke. It is a degree mill. Of cos except MD, LLB or BASc degrees.

UTM grad got unemployed for 1 year before getting a full-time job.

Sounds like an idiot who´s just way too insecure about UofT´s ability to take down his school any second.

Boy, that feeling sucks, doesn´t it?
