BusinessWeek Ranks Schulich Among World?s
Top 10 International MBA Programs

TORONTO, ON ? Friday, October 13, 2006 ? BusinessWeek yesterday ranked the Schulich School of Business at York University among the top 10 International MBA programs in the world. Schulich ranked 9th overall in the 2006 BusinessWeek survey.

Other Schulich highlights in the BusinessWeek survey:

Schulich ranked 5th among international schools in the recruiter ranking, which measures the opinions of corporate recruiters who hire MBA graduates.
Corporate recruiters assessed the skills of graduates in both ?Global Scope? and ?General Management?, and gave Schulich?s MBA graduates an ?A? score in each.

Schulich is the only Canadian business school to be ranked in every major global survey of MBA programs. In the past two years, in addition to today?s BusinessWeek ranking, the Schulich School of Business has been:

Ranked number one in Canada and 18th in the world and by the Financial Times of London in its 2006 survey;
Ranked number one in Canada and 30th in the world by the Economist Intelligence Unit, the business research and intelligence arm of The Economist magazine, in its 2006 survey;
Ranked number one in Canada and 3rd in the world among two-year MBA programs outside the US by Forbes magazine in its most recent survey conducted in 2005;
Ranked number one in Canada and number three in the world in the field of corporate social responsibility by the World Resources Institute and the Aspen Institute in their most recent Beyond Grey Pinstripes survey, conducted in 2005;
Ranked 13th in the world in The Wall Street Journal?s 2006 ?Top International Schools? ranking, announced last month.

?We?re very pleased to have made one of the top MBA rankings in the world,? said Schulich Dean Dezs? J. Horv?th. ?Today?s ranking, in combination with all the other major rankings of the past two years, clearly places Schulich among the leading schools in Canada and top ten in the world outside of the U.S.?
